THE Chinese Embassy has awarded scholarships to six TT students as part of its Ambassador Scholarship Award Programme. Praising the embassy for this, Education Minister Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly urged citizens to put effort into building TT and to learning from China. The ceremony was held at the San Juan North Secondary School on Thursday morning.
The Trinidad and Tobago Guardian is the longest running daily newspaper in the country, marking its centenary in 2017. The paper started life as the Trinidad Guardian on Sunday 2nd September 1917 by the newly formed Trinidad Publishing Company Limited.
