EPHRATA – Local non-profit Cloudview Farm will be putting on the 2nd annual Summer Sunflower Fest this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on their Ephrata farm located at 17305 Frey Road.

The NCACH on Dec. 7 announced the recipients of its Coalitions for Health Improvement (CHI) Community Initiatives Funding, part of a statewide Medicaid Transformation initiative.
The projects include:
Wenatchee River Instituteâs interpretative StoryWalk® trail in Leavenworth: $6,285
A new farmerâs market serving Cashmere and the greater community: $50,000
Cascade Medicalâs suicide prevention training and mental health screenings for Cascade School District students: $6,700
