Commentary: Support Child Abuse Prevention Month by wearing blue Wednesday

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to spread awareness and help strengthen families to prevent child abuse and neglect in our community.
On April 1, the Stark County commissioners presented our agency with a proclamation to designate the month. The proclamation urged residents to dedicate themselves to improving the quality of life for all children and families because, our children are our most valuable resources and they will shape the future of Stark County.
Child abuse and neglect are serious problems affecting every segment of our community.
