CLEVELAND, Ohio Kevin Stefanski not only won the AP NFL Coach of the Year award, he also won it in a landslide, garnering half of the 50 votes of media members who regularly cover the NFL, a testament to the amazing job he did this season as a rookie coach in the face of adversity.
Buffalo’s Sean McDermott came in second with seven votes, and Brian Flores came in third with six.
Like many of the Browns’ games this season, the competition came right down to wire, with voting closing two days after the end of the regular season.
