The Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) has confirmed the death of two passengers in a boat mishap that happened at the powerline, Ikoyi-link bridge, Ikoyi area of the state. This was according to a release by Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) on Thursday, adding that other 15 passengers were rescued from the mishap by the agency.

Two people have lost their lives in a boat accident at Powerline, around Ikoyi Link Bridge in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State. It was learnt that 15 other passengers were rescued unharmed.
