DANGEROUS trees that have caused subsidence have been removed from the sides of a quarry car park in Falmouth. Contractors have spent all this week removing a large number of trees and vegetation from the cliff faces along Quarry car park after a number of landslips made the area dangerous. One of the properties above the quarry was condemned after a number of landslips made the house untenable. Councillor Dave Saunby said it s the first time the cliffs have been bare since the 1950s.
