Tractor-trailer rollover closes I-295 exit, Route 1 on-ramp in Falmouth Thursday morning

FALMOUTH, Maine A couple of ramps off Route 1 were closed for a time Thursday morning due to a tractor-trailer rollover.
Maine State Police said the crash happened around 4:10 a.m.
The crash happened on Exit 11 southbound just before the tollgate. The Exit 11 departing ramp is blocked as a result. The on-ramp leading to the Falmouth Spur is also closed.

A four-year-old boy who was a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe was fatally injured in a crash on Route 151 in Falmouth on Thursday, officials said.
Mashpee Schools Superintendent Patricia DeBoer said the child was a pre-school student at the K.C. Coombs School in Mashpee. She identified him as Okemos Brown of Mashpee. DeBoer said he was a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.
âOkemos was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed,â DeBoer wrote in the letter provided to the Globe. âOkemos was related to many members of our connected community. We will all spend difficult moments grieving his loss. Please keep Okemos and his family in your thoughts and prayers.â
