Falls Township Police officer had pulled over a driver, clocked going 90 miles per hour. As the office ever was walking to speak to that driver, police say a third car crashed into the patrol car causing a Chain Reaction. So the officers car then hit the vehicle that had them pulled over. Four people in that vehicle were taken to the hospital, so was the officer who was thrown during the accident, and none of them have life threatening injuries. Police are still investigating the cause of this crash. But do have some preliminary information, they believe the driver of the striking vehicle may have been impaired. Police are investigating this, as a dui crash take a listen. Not uncommon in this area for when we are doing Speed Enforcement that we clock vehicles at 100mile per hour plus up on this area. Is wet snow showers that are popping through bensalem and pushing toward trenton youre getting clipped by that. Some of my twitter followers are reporting its coming down heavy in parts of south jersey, leaving Camden County and pushing into Burlington County getting toward the east quickly and because temperatures at the surface are above freezing this is causing wet roads. I could see grassy surface accumulation quickly. This is producing snow in the Eastern Shore of maryland and areas north of baltimore and south of wilmington, delaware. But, again temperatures above freezing so probably acting mainly like rain on roads. You slow it down, though, visibility will be an issue as it pushes through in the next hour or so.
