BRISTOL COUNTY, Mass. (WLNE) – Four COVID-19 vaccination sites in Bristol County that were supposed to open weeks ago are sitting in the dark despite being set up, staffed, and ready to go.
On March 16, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced that four regional vaccination clinics were coming to the county.
One in Fall River at Bristol Community College, one in Attleboro at La Salette Shrine, one in Taunton at the Holiday Inn off 495, and one in Swansea.
But all of those sites say they’re still awaiting supply from the state.
“Our board of health and the other cities turned themselves inside out to get approval for this site which was not simple, but the state’s been very difficult with supply and I don’t understand it,” Rep. Jim Hawkins (D-Attleboro) said.
