HOUSTON, May 17, 2021 Asia Society welcomed guests to celebrate Houston s Muslim community at a family-friendly event highlighting Eid al-Fitr. Presented by the Tameez family, the all-day festivities featured an array of Islamic arts and traditions to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Visitors enjoyed a bazaar of art, ceramics, and jewelry for sale by local artists, learned to write their names in Arabic, and received a henna tattoo, all presented by the
Islamic Arts Society and punctuated by musical performances by
