Dubai, 3rd December 2023 – His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Ahmed Al-Tayeb and His Holiness Pope Francis have signed a declaration of support for urgent climate action, giving video addresses to the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) .
Pope Francis stated that climate change is “a religious problem” calling on other clerical leaders to “set an example,” according to Crux Catholic Media.
