three churches are suing fema challenging the policy that bans houses of worship for applying for relief as nonprofits simply because they are religious. this church suffered flooding and damage. faith doesn t keep us from helping others and we are not sure why it keeps fema from helping us. nonprofits of any kind that provide services to their communities are allowed to apply. when you have these first responders still there once the government leaves, doesn t it seem weird that the government is discriminating against them? president trump seem to agree. he tweeted: churches from texas should be the laws not clear.
