Port Fairy Police Nab Speeding Driver
A speeding driver who was nabbed by local police as part of Operation Nexus over the weekend, is set to face a lengthy stint without a driver s licence.
Port Fairy Police intercepted the South Australian provisional licence holder traveling on the Princes Hwy near Codrington, during the long weekend operation.
The driver was detected at 149 kilometres an hour, whilst traveling with an adult passenger and 3 young children in the vehicle.

The driver was issued with an $826 dollar fine, and will be disqualified from driving for a period of 12 months.
Operation Nexus concludes at 11:59pm, Monday April 5.
