He is the most positive person you could ever meet. His cup is not half full it’s overflowing! Born in a small mining village in South Wales, one of four brothers and a sister he had an idyllic childhood. His father had a haulage business and consequently Ron learnt to drive at a very young age. His family were also the first in the village to own a motorcar. After Grammar School in the 1930’s Ron went on to study Classics at Swansea University. After completing his degree he decided to study for Holy Orders at St David’s in Pembrokeshire and duly became a vicar and rural dean in North Wales.
