The Fairview Fine Arts Society hosted a day for Art in the Park at the Maples at Historic Dunvegan on August 1. A vast group of local artists attended and spent four hours painting landscapes. In the end, the artists posed with their final pieces.

Robertson had just finished a presentation about the coming April 18 Masquerade Ball being planned by the Fairview Fine Arts Society to celebrate the society s 40th Anniversary. There will be entertainment, live art demonstrations, live and silent auctions, music and snacks (was well as a midnight lunch). Elegant dress suggested, masks will be available at the door for a price (masks are not a requirement but they are part of the fun).
