Town of Fairview council members held their regular Town council meeting on Feb.16. During the meeting, council members discussed the amendment of a land use bylaw, discussed in New Business the Peace Officer Program audit, and the CAO reported on information regarding the ICF meting and other most recent occurrences.
The land use bylaw amendment that had been brought to public hearing at the Feb. 15 Town council meeting was to outline changes made to the bylaw that regulates the requirements and limitations of all projecting signs either in front of a structure or building or attached to. There was no comments or discussion about the amendment for this bylaw from council. A public hearing was held on Feb. 16 and those who feel that the changes to this bylaw would negatively impact them were asked to create presentations to deliver at the Town of Fairview Council Chambers located in the Provincial Building.
