If you’re an Ohioan who loves his or her public library, here’s a critical heads-up: Ohio’s proposed two-year budget, pending in the Senate, would cut state aid to Ohio’s libraries which are among the nation’s very best.
Fairport Harbor Public Library announced that while the library building is currently closed to in-person visitors, there are holiday programs and activities available for the entire family. Virtual Story Time with Santa! will take place on the libraryâs Facebook page at 11 a.m., Dec. 23, according to a news release. No sign-up is required.
Meanwhile, people can purchase a copy of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, personally autographed by the Grinch, from the Friends of the Library for $5, the release stated. Copies are available at curbside pickup while supplies last.
