Faribault County Register BLUE EARTH The tax levy for Faribault County was officially certified by the County Commissioners at their meeting Tuesday morning. The total net levy for 2021 was set at $11,980,095, which is an increase of $292,196, or 2.5 percent over the 2020 levy. Budgeted revenues for 2021 total $29,082,381. Expenditures are budgeted to be $28,865,666. The major increases to the budget include adding a full-time Buildings and Grounds employee in the general fund along with planned fund balance build-ups of $61,374 and $109,454 in the general and Human Services funds, respectively. The board also held a public hearing on the proposed tax abatement for the city of Blue Earth’s APX housing project.
