From the start line in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, to the finish line in Boston, officials are calling on people to pay attention to their surroundings and to tell authorities if they see anything out of place.
Polls opened at 7 am, with statewide offices, Congressional and State House races, and policy questions on the ballot. Polls are set to close at 8 pm. The statewide offices include governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, treasurer, and auditor. Congressional races as well as races for state senator and state representative are also on the ballot.
