Two charged with shooting into vehicles with BB gun

Posted Fairhope Police Report FAIRHOPE – Two suspects have been charged with felonies after being arrested in connection with multiple incidents of someone shooting into vehicles with a BB gun. Fairhope police arrested Andre Francisco Connors, 20, of Daphne and a 17-year-old Fairhope resident on Thursday, Feb. 18. The two suspects face felony charges of shooting into a vehicle in connection with incidents reported last week. Police identified 16 victims at the time of the arrest, but said more charges could be added. Fairhope police received numerous calls on Thursday that vehicle windows had been shot out. One incident occurred while the victim was driving her vehicle.

Fairhope man charged in child sexual assault investigation

Fairhope Police Report FAIRHOPE – A Fairhope man was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 13, on felony charges as a result of an on-going child sexual assault investigation by the Fairhope Police Department. John Ryan Arnold, 39, is charged with enticing a child for immoral purposes and domestic violence – strangulation or suffocation, according to Fairhope police. Both are felony charges and additional charges are also pending, the statement said. The incidents are alleged to have taken place over an extended period of time and were reported to Fairhope Police in October 2020. Arnold was transferred to the Baldwin County Corrections Center in Bay Minette, where he was being held on $17,500 bond on Thursday.
