Fairhaven Long Term Care Home is reporting another COVID-19 outbreak.
Just four days after a 41-day long outbreak had ended, an employee has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Fairhaven officials say the virus wasn’t acquired from the home, and will only declare the outbreak in the Riverside 3 home area only. For the duration of the outbreak period, all visits will be postponed.
Starting tomorrow, all staff and residents in this area will be swapped. There’s currently no confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 among residents.
