Disgusting Pile of Trash Found in Fairhaven
I ve seen nips and cigarettes and trash in general alongside the road, but never have I ever seen such a disgusting sight as this.
At the end of Taber Street in Fairhaven is a pathway that leads down to the shoreline banks of the Acushnet River. What should be nothing other than a waterfront habitat has been transformed into a repulsive pile of rubbish.

The eyesore was discovered by a member of the Fairhaven Conservation Commission, Gary Lavalette, who takes this unlawful and disgusting act very seriously. Lavalette is currently looking for volunteer recruits who are willing to help out with this project. It would involve manually moving the trash to the bottom of Taber Street, where the town will then pick it up.
