The district was initially facing a shortfall of 15pointone Million Dollars. That number has now dropped to nine Million Dollars. Tonight hundreds of parents packed tonights meeting. Pushing Board Members to keep their school open. Labor unions and Community Groups are trying to get school Board Members to reconsider their calculations. They want access to how the budget is being analyzed, so the community can help come up with proposals for the allocation of funds. Those opposing cuts to schools say high paid administrators should feel the brunt of it, but students will no doubt be affected. In a place where they could go into state receivership.
