Ten years ago, artist Fadilah Karim ventured into the Malaysian art scene and never looked back.
Hailing from Batu Pahat, Johor, this 33-year-old mother of one has more than 50 exhibitions in her portfolio.
She is regarded, arguably, as one of the most prolific young artists in Malaysia, known for her body of large-scale figurative works which are autobiographical by narrative and muted realism in style.

A Decade: Fadilah Karim 2010 – 2020 exhibition by Segaris Art Center in Kuala Lumpur, featuring an array of loaned works from collectors and institutions, is a celebration of Fadilah’s formidable art career.
The exhibition, featuring over 50 artworks, is running at the White Box gallery, Publika in KL until Jan 3.
