FC Dallas sign Argentine MF Facundo Quignon

FC Dallas announced the signing Monday of defensive midfielder Facundo Quignon from the Argentine club Lanus.
The 28-year-old joins the MLS club on a two-and-a-half-year contract and will occupy an international roster slot.
Quignon has spent eight seasons in the Primera Division in his native Argentina, tallying three goals and five assists in 136 matches with San Lorenzo de Almagro, Newell s Old Boys and Lanus. He won the Copa Libertadores in 2014 and the Super Copa Argentina in 2015-16 while with San Lorenzo.
Quignon will be added to the roster upon receipt of his international paperwork.

In April, the Emergent BioSolutions plant in Baltimore was ordered to stop manufacturing the Johnson and Johnson vaccine due to improper supervision during the manufacturing process
Last month, Emergent Chief Executive Robert Kramer said there were 100 million doses of Johnson and Johnson s vaccine ready for FDA review
