LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 2, 2021) The Graduate Student Congress (GSC) at the University of Kentucky is hosting this year’s Life After Graduate School” (LAGS) Conference virtually March 8-12.
The purpose of the LAGS Conference is to help graduate and professional students learn about the skills they may need to acquire to land a job in their field of choice, especially if that position is outside of academia. The GSC understands that the academic job market is strained right now, but there are vast opportunities available for graduate and professional students, if they just know where to look.

POSITION: UNDERGRADUATE TEACHING FACULTY FOR CHEMISTRY
Responsibilities:
Organize practical labs and Manage Teaching Assistants
Develop student’s appreciation and passion for the study of Chemistry
Maintain office hours, attend meetings, organize, and participate in university related activities
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Collegial working style and desire to contribute to the university and campus community
At least three years’ experience teaching Chemistry (in English) at the university level
Experience teaching classes of various sizes as well as non-native English speakers from various cultural backgrounds
