BSU Faculty of Journalism becomes member of Eurasian Media Studies Center

MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – The Faculty of Journalism of Belarusian State University (BSU) has become a member of the Eurasian Media Studies Center of Russia s Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). The relevant agreement was signed by BSU First Vice Rector Dmitry Medvedev and Dean of MSU Faculty of Journalism Yelena Vartanova at a web-based meeting, BelTA learned from the BSU press service.
Thanks to cooperation with the center, BSU scientists will be able to conduct joint research and organize scientific events together with colleagues from Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as have their works published in international rankings and exchange research and methodological materials.

“The main distinctive feature of the 2021 edition of the event is the category ‘Government agencies . Website of participants will be analyzed in line with the assessment criteria of operation of websites of government agencies developed by the Theory and Practice of Public Administration Research Institute of the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus together with the Communications and Informatization Ministry and the Faculty of Journalism of Belarusian State University,” the ministry said.
Belarusian students take two diplomas at international essay competition

MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) – Four-year student of the Faculty of Journalism of Belarusian State University (BSU) Maksim Tyutenkov took a 2nd degree diploma at the International Essay Competition, BelTA learned from the BSU press service.
Maksim Tyutenkov s essay was about preserving the native language and delved into the topic of bilingualism. The student worked under the guidance of Yulia Lukianyuk, head of the communication technologies and public relations department of the BSU Faculty of Journalism.
Viktoria Krivenok, a 10th-grade student of Francysk Skaryna Gymnasium No.1 of Polotsk, took a 1st degree diploma.
