Event: Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health continues to report a rise in new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19, most of which are related to the outbreak at a seafood market at Samut Sakhon and a smaller cluster associated with a social gathering in Rayong. On December 27, 121 new cases were reported, of which 94 were locally-transmitted.
U.S. citizens traveling over the holidays should monitor the news to stay abreast of the latest reports on Covid-19 cases and any changes to provincial transportation and business operating status that could impact their travel plans.
