45-year-old Ebonyi IDP commits suicide over hard times
A 45-year-old woman, Mrs Ifeoma Otubo, has reportedly committed suicide in Ebonyi State.
It was learnt that she hung herself on a mango tree behind her house at Okposi village, Umuoghara community, Ezza North Local Government Area of the state on Sunday
A brother to the deceased, Christopher Oyibo, said the mother of five had sometime in 2014 attempted to commit suicide because of hardship, but she was rescued by people, who spotted her.
Before she took her life in the hours of Sunday, Ifeoma had reportedly lamented that she was finding it difficult to take care of her children.

The 45-year-old woman was found hanging from a mango tree behind her house in the early hours of Sunday, December 20.
The deceasedâs brother, Christopher Oyibo, who confirmed the incident, said she had attempted to commit suicide in 2014 because of hardship but was rescued.
It was gathered that before she took the drastic action, she had lamented that she was finding it difficult to take care of her children.
According to a source from the community, the deceased and family were displaced due to the Ezza/Eziulo lingering communal crisis in Ishielu local government area of the state.

A 45-year-old mother of five children identified as Mrs Ifeoma Otubo from Okposi Umuoghara in Ezza North LGA of Ebonyi state has committed suicide.
The deceased, it was gathered, took took her own her life by hanging on Sunday December 20, 2020.
She reportedly hung herself on a bush mango tree behind her house.
A brother to the. deceased, Christopher Nwuzor told Reporter that, she had some time in 2014 attempted to commit suicide because of hardship but was rescued by people who spotted her.
He said before she took her on Sunday, she had complained of hardship and that she could no longer take care of her five children.

A frustrated mother of five identified as Ifeoma Otubo, in the early hours of Sunday, December 20, 2020, committed suicide at Okposi Umuoghara, in Ezza North local government Area of Ebonyi State.
It was gathered that the deceased, her husband and children had moved to her parent after being displaced by the Ezza/Eziulo communal crisis in Ishielu local government area of the state.
The 45-year-old woman who had attempted suicide in 2015, was said to be experiencing a very difficult situation, prompting her to take her life.
Christopher Oyibo, a younger brother to the deceased confirmed the development to newsmen.

Due to hardship, which she had complained about several times, a middle-aged woman, Ifeoma Otubo, whose family was displaced by an Ebonyi State communal war, committed suicide by hanging on Sunday.
She was found dangling from a mango tree by her children at their Okposi Umuoghara abode, in Ezza North Local Government Area of the state.
