Another live export ship arrived in Taranaki on Friday before leaving shortly after due to bad weather. The vessel, Ocean Ute, is currently waiting off the coast of Kaikoura for bad weather to pass before returning to Port Taranaki, a Maritime NZ spokesperson said. “There are no livestock on board.”

Ezra was marching with his brother and sister and mother on Saturday. He was protesting because he doesn t want animals to be hurt. The Ocean Ute is the second live export ship to dock at Port Taranaki this year. In 2020, more than 21,000 cows were exported to China from Port Taranaki.
