A suspected armed robber, Godwin Rafael, 32, has explained why he always goes to T-Junctions at night to make sacrifices to God after killing people during operations.
Police said that Rafael’s gang, which specialised in attacking Point of Sale operators in Aba Town, Abia State, has killed three people, but the gang members, who are presently in police custody, admitted killing only two.
The two are a man, identified as Dr. Victor Chimaobi, killed along Market Road by Kent Street, Aba on January 21, 2021 and Ezinne Grace Iroh, robbed and killed on January 31, 2021 at Ukaegbu Street in Ogbor Hill area of Aba.

The police in Abia State have arrested a gang of armed robbers for murdering two point of sale (POS) operators in Aba local government area of the state.
Among the suspects is a 25-year-old student of Abia State Polytechnic identified as Uzoma Samuel and five others.
One of the POS operators, Ezinne Grace Iroh, 23, from Ohafia LGA, was murdered on January 30, 2021, after they allegedly shot her at Ukaegbu Road, in Ogbor Hill area of Aba.
Similarly, another POS operator, Dr. Godwin Chimaobi Victor Igbokwe, a former staff of a first-generation bank was killed a few days before Grace.

One week after armed robbers shot dead a Point of Sale (POS) operator along Market Road, Aba, Abia State, another operator identified as Ezinne Grace Iroh, has been killed at Ukaegbu Road, in Ogbor Hill area of the city.
Sources told Vanguard that the gunmen numbering three stormed Ezinne’s shop in a tricycle and shot her on the chest as she struggled to protect a bag believed to be containing cash for the day’s business.
The gunmen finally overpowered her, collected the bag as well as her POS machine.
