Teen at center of Alabama Amber Alert found, alleged abductor captured

GENEVA COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has canceled an Amber Alert for a missing 16-year-old believed to be in âextreme danger.â
Jada Yvonne Varner was found overnight Sunday with her alleged abductor, 21-year-old Ezekiel Vang, according to the Geneva County Sheriffâs Office.
The Geneva County Sheriffâs Office says Varner and Vang were found in Greenville, Florida. After a short car chase, the car wrecked and Varner did suffer some non-life-threatening injuries.

SLOCOMB, Ala. (WBRC) - ALEA has canceled an Amber Alert for a 16-year-old girl.
The Alert was issued Sunday night. Troopers said she was last seen on May 9 around 4 p.m. in the area of County Road 28 in Slocomb, AL.
Authorities said she was found with the man police said abducted her.
Authorities said the girl was taken by 21-year-old Ezekiel Vang, according to the Geneva County Sheriff’s Office.

Amber Alert for south Alabama teen reportedly cancelled

An Amber Alert was issued Sunday night for a south Alabama teen girl believed to be in extreme danger.
The state of Alabama issued the alert for 16-year-old Jada Yvonne Varner. The teen was last seen about 4 p.m. Sunday in the area of Geneva County’s County Road 28 in Slocomb.
Authorities said her abductor is Ezekiel Vang, 21. The pair may be traveling in a 2008 silver Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible with Alabama license plate 34CH906. Family members of Varner posted on Facebook that the teen was taken against her will at gunpoint.
