Ikpeazu urges security agencies to begin enforcement of anti-open grazing law in Abia

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has tasked security agencies in Abia State to commence the enforcement of the Anti-Open Grazing Law put in place since 2018.
Ikpeazu gave the charge at Michael Ọkpara Auditorium, Umuahia, while flagging-off the Statewide sensitization workshop against criminal activities in Abia communities.
According to Governor, enforcing the law will help reduce the unprovoked attacks against farmers by herdsmen.
Governor Ikpeazu who was represented by his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu also requested the cooperation of other stakeholders to ensure the government fights and wins the war against criminality in the state.

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has called on security agencies in the State to assist government in enforcing the Anti-Open Grazing Law of Abia State.
The Governor made the call at Michael Ọkpara Auditorium, Umuahia, while flagging-off the State wide sensitization workshop against criminal activities in Abia communities. According to him, enforcing the law would help reduce the issue of farmers/herders clashes in the State.
Governor Ikpeazu who was represented by his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, requested the cooperation of stakeholders to ensure government fights and wins the war against criminality in the State.

A foremost traditional Ruler in Nigeria and Eze Ukwu of Ngwa land, Eze Dr Bernard Enweremadu has passed on at the age of 77 years.
Announcing the death of the foremost traditional ruler in Ngwa Ukwu in Isialangwa North LGA, the eldest son of the traditional ruler and former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Christopher Enweremadu said his father died on the 17th of January at the age of 77.
Recall that late Eze Bernard Enweremadu became a traditional ruler at the age of 33, he reportedly also left legacies.
His son, Prince Christopher Enweremadu, thanked the State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu for his support to the family and assured of the commitment of the family in sustaining the good legacy left by the renowned traditional ruler and embodiments of culture and tradition of Ngwa land.

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu will on Friday, 22nd January, 2021, commission some road projects executed by his administration.
A statement by the state Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi Kalu, said Gov Ikpeazu will commission the projects in company of His Eminence, Nzie Nzi Eke, Prelate and Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria,
