unprecedented response. if it wasn t, it is now. should be, absolutely. something you can do without dice in college. so if you re listening to that, you re saying, ok, the unprecedented response to the unprecedented spill and now this is a good time to change gears and go to a green economy. he brought up climate change but not actually being honest and saying this thing is forever stuck in congress. right. and the democrats didn t even give him 12 hours to basque in the glow of a primetime speech before they already said that s not going to happen. senator feinstein said the climate bill isn t going to stop the leak. and that s exactly right. we want ok, if you want to push your legislation, push your legislation some day. but right now, stop that leak! what about the motto of this administration, rahm emanuel at the very beginning said never waste a good crisis. in fact, i think this is how is this how rahm emanuel said it? this is how he said it. well, maybe we do
and dangerous. you see stuart varney on varney & company 9:20 eastern time each and every business day. stay there for a second. you ll love this. what do the american people think of president obama s oval office speech last night? fox news analyst frank luntz didn t want to wait. he sat down with a group of voters asking if the president s speech was a hit or miss. we re talking to 28 voters from southern california who may decide the next governor, the next senator but we re talking to them after watching barack obama s speech to the american people. now, i have a theory here in watching your reactions which is you really aren t giving them a chance. if you voted for him, you ll love what he said. if you didn t vote for him, you hate what he said. is that accurate? yeah, everything has been a crisis in the state. here we are in crisis and we re not hearing any solutions 52 days into it. i think the problem with 90% of it was about cap and trade, selling a program and abo
part of the role of the commander in chief is to continue to rally the nation behind the troops. i m not saying that he hasn t wanted to do that. it hasn t been a big topic of conversation. last night, he used all sorts of war references including talking about technology like the war planes in world war ii. like this, for example, this is how it sounded. brave men and women in uniform are taking the fight to al-qaida wherever it exists. and tonight, i ve returned from a trip to gulf coast to speak with you about the battle we re waging against an oil spill that is assaulting our shores and our citizens. the millions of gallons of oil that have spilled into the gulf of mexico are more like an epidemic. one that we will be fighting for months and even years. but make no mistake. we will fight this spill with everything we ve got for as long as it takes. and by the way, because of this extreme situation and dare i say it s almost a college drinking game, i imagine, how many times h
