Symphony Environmental s anti-microbial film to protect Brazil bus passengers from COVID
The plastics specialist said a d2p anti-microbial film will be used to cover seats and handles on buses in the Brazilian city of Guarulhos
Symphony Environmental Technologies PLC (LON:SYM) said a donation has been made to the city of Guarulhos in Brazil that will provide the company s d2p anti-microbial film to cover seats and handles on the city’s public bus system, comprised of 858 vehicles.
The AIM-listed firm said the d2p film will protect the city’s 400,000+ bus passengers from Coronavirus and other bacteria and fungi normally present on surfaces. Following the announcement, Guarulhos becomes the first public transport system in the world to incorporate d2p anti-microbial technology to protect the health of its users.
