along the water s edge near the gulf of mexico where it meets up with extreme southern alabama. right near wolf s bay and back over towards perdido itself, very strong thunderstorms we need to watch very, very carefully. the problem with these thunderstorms, they happen to be rain dropped. if there are any tornados, the likelihood of being able to see them is very limited. showers and storm not just in northern alabama, day extend for several hundred miles up. and farther from the plains, we re going to leave the southeast, and up in the northeast, a little bit of snow on the ground. strong winds may cause some whiteout conditions. and for that, we have a blizzard warning that is in effect for this region through midday today. temperatures, brutal. it feels like 5 degrees right now in grand forks. up along the border, 16 below. 16 in rapid city. sioux falls and minneapolis, it feels like 6. and in atlanta, already, the cloudy skies, got the raindrops.
