Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, has confirmed the sacking of Chief Letep Dabang as the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Caretaker Committee in Enugu State, Dr. Ben Nwoye, on Monday, advised some members of the party against sowing seeds of hatred in the minds of the people ahead of the 2023 general election.
DAILY POST reports that a former Reps member, Amb. Fidel Ayogu and a former Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eugene Odo at a meeting in Nsukka, weekend, rejected the party’s zoning of political offices, including governorship and party positions.
The duo during the meeting held at the country home of another chieftain of the party, Barr. George Ogara, also claimed that the party was marginalizing Enugu North Senatorial zone “despite that they have 50 percent of the entire membership of the APC in the State.”

A former governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, Rep Aminu Sani Jaji, has refuted claims that a former governor of the state, Abdulaziz Yari, gave the Senator Kabiru Marafa-led defunct faction of the party N100 million to collapse its structure into the mainstream APC in the state.
Jaji, a former chairman, House Committee on Internal Security who was a key player in the Marafa faction, told newsmen yesterday in Abuja that the claim was a campaign of calumny aimed at de-marketing APC in the state ahead of the 2023 elections.
