The Voice of Indiana County INDIANA AREA BOARD TO MEET TONIGHT IN PERSON By Hometown1 Apr 12, 2021 4:26 AM The Indiana Area School Board will meet tonight, and for the first time in over a year, the meeting will be in person and open to the public, with modification. The meeting will be at the Junior High School to allow for better physical distancing, and board meetings will continue to be available virtually.  The district has posted a video on its website to explain parking and attendance procedures. The agenda contains a lot of personnel items, including hires that can be paid for with the district’s $5.7 million Cares Act ESSER (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief) funding. There are three phases of the grants, and the board will consider both personnel and programs.
