VOV.VN - The Ministry of Health (MoH) , in its noon COVID-19 update on May 28, confirmed a further 40 coronavirus cases in six localities, including 36 cases in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang, the country’s two largest COVID-19 hotspots.
An extensive testing campaign is underway in Bac Giang to early detect positive cases in the community.
The MoH data show 23 more cases were recorded in Bac Giang and 13 in Bac Ninh,. All the new patients tested positive during their stay in quarantine and lockdown areas.
The ministry also announced one more case each in Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Ha Nam and Hanoi.
