Mysore Road - Kengeri Metro line to start from July

The elevated Metro line on Mysore Road, which is 7.53 kilometers long, comprises six new Metro stations and stretches until
Kengeri. The project’s costs have come up to Rs 1,920 crore which means roughly Rs 254 crore was spent per kilometre, instead of the average cost of Rs 200 crore. The project costs include Rs 360 crore for land acquisition.
On Tuesday, Chief Minister
BS Yediyurappa inspected the stretch and announced that the project will be open for commercial use in July. The train testing after integration, and migration of the signaling system from the existing section to the new section is now completed, he said. An extension of the East - West Corridor (Purple Line), the new line comprises six stations:
