New game store opens in downtown Port Huron
Port Huron Times Herald
Greg Campbell said within five minutes of turning the open sign on someone came into his and Derek Helsom’s new game store in downtown Port Huron Tuesday.
The store had its final inspections on Tuesday and inspectors told the business owners as soon as they walked out the door they could open.
So they did.
Border Keep Games and Collectibles at 942 Military St. is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“Not only is our store open with COVID guidelines (wear a mask! We don’t want to get shut down!) but we have been cleared to open our game rooms three (masks, 20% capacity, tables 6ft apart)!,” Helsom wrote in a Facebook post Tuesday.
