Manohari Abeyesekera, currently a Director /Chairperson Audit Committee of Sri Lanka’s premier savings bank, National Savings Bank (NSB), has been elected by the CIMA Members to represent South Asia in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA- UK) Global Council for a three-year term with effect from June 2021.
Manohari has served CIMA over a decade in various leadership roles. She served a CIMA Sri Lanka Board Member for two terms from 2012 to 2014 and from 2015 to 2017, and in the CIMA MESANA Board in 2017. She was the Chairperson of CIMA Sri Lanka Country Network Panel 2019, in CIMA’s Centenary Year. She currently serves as a Member of the CIMA Global Member Engagement Committee 2020/2021.
