And i sat down with the president and had a discussion about potentially taking this role after serving as deputy secretary and in our discussion, we got to the end of the discussion, and i said to him, who do i report to . He said you report to me, which was a very different perspective than i expected. I expected to be told i reported to the chief of staff or someone else.
