EXETER – Thanks to a community partnership between the Exeter BIA, Hay Communications and the Municipality of South Huron, downtown Exeter is now offering free Wi-Fi on Main Street from the intersections of James Street to Sanders Street.
The free public Wi-Fi service is being provided by Hay Communications, with the Municipality of South Huron supporting the initial set up costs.

According to a press release, this initiative began as a way of making the downtown area more enjoyable to visit and allow people to share pictures of the historic architecture and virtually visit the shops and businesses.

EXETER – The Experience Exeter and South Huron Guide has a new cover photo this year taken by Suzie McComb of Exeter.
This year the Exeter BIA, Municipality of South Huron and Exeter Lakeshore Times-Advance again ran a contest to find the photograph that represents the white squirrel well. Organizers were thrilled to once again receive many entries showcasing amazing photographic talent. A press release stated that the talent within South Huron when it comes to capturing our mascot in pictures is amazing but one picture in particular, from Suzie McComb, captured the voting committee’s attention.
