Destiny 2 Makes Subtle Change Players Have Been Asking For Since Launch
Bungie has revealed new patch notes for its recent
Destiny 2 update on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The additional patch notes don t reveal a ton of supreme consequence, but they do reveal an improvement to a piece of dialogue that has been annoying players for far too long. More specifically, the update has made a change to a bit of Suraya Hawthorne dialogue that players hear every single time they complete the weekly challenges for the clan. Again, hearing this dialogue was quite tedious, but thankfully players no longer have to suffer through it, because it s been removed.

Exotics are the most powerful and unique items you can obtain in the Destiny 2 sandbox, and with them at your disposal, you’ll be well-equipped to take on the enemies of the Guardians (or Guardians like yourself in the Crucible). Get in quick, as they ll be useless in Season 13.
Destiny 2 will do away with Vendor Tokens from Season 13, prompting developer Bungie to inform players that they should redeem what they have while they can.
“Starting in Season 13 for Gambit and Crucible (Valor) and in a future Season for strikes, rank rewards will be visible on the ritual vendors,” Bungie’s Justin Dazet, Design Lead, said. “Each Season you’ll be greeted by a row of rewards, progression toward which will be earned automatically as you complete relevant playlist activities.”
Rank rewards will be picked up from Vendors, which Dazet says, “gives much better visibility into what you’ll be earning as you progress, and helps you make better choices about where to spend your time.”
