Getting There: Route 9 and Route 20 intersection

Q:
Why does the traffic signal at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 20 favor traffic traveling west on Route 20 and not the traffic from Route 9, heading north? With the completion of the Amazon fulfillment warehouse just to the south of the intersection, there is additional truck traffic now heading north to get on I-90 at Exit 11. Many times you sit backed up waiting for the light to change while no cars are seen coming west on 20 or heading east on 20. This intersection needs to be reevaluated so that the timing is more favorable or at least equitable to the traffic on Route 9 North!
