“Moments, A Muny Docuseries” is the brainchild of Colby Dezelick, The Muny’s Digital Communications Manager. He told Broadway World that this documentary series will focus on the century long history of The Muny. He shared that episode will examine specific moments in the timeline of The Muny and the blind courage it took to create an outdoor performance space that has now become a legendary theater. In fact, the first episode is titled “Blind Courage.” As part of the production process Dezelick hand selected St. Louis Actor Rich Pisarkiewicz to serve as the narrator for the series.
JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT is a show that is pure joy and pure fun. She said this is a story of a man in a precarious situation who continues to dream and takes responsibility to change his own story.

Updated at 2:20 p.m. with shows from the Muny s planned season The Muny plans to produce a seven-show season next year that would run from July through early September, the theater’s officials announced Monday. But the season will only take place if the coronavirus is less of a threat and officials allow large gatherings again.
“If those things take place by the time we start, then we’ll be able to do this,” Managing Director Kwofe Coleman said. “There are so many factors that are out of our control that are in play here.”

The Muny stage was empty this summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, but now the St. Louis theater has announced dates for its 2021 season. This year marked the first in the venue s 102-year history without productions playing the outdoor stage. Over the next several months, the theater company, in conjunction with city and health officials, will continue to evaluate every aspect of its operation in relation to its audience, staff, cast, crew and community. With ongoing consideration for available information and guidance regarding the anticipated global recovery from COVID-19, Muny staff are preparing for a delayed start to the season in July 2021.
