STAUNTON Everyone has a tale to tell. Two local organizations are working with community members to chisel away at their life experiences to help them tell their own stories.
Staunton Pride, partnered with the Arrow Project put together the Leveraging Our Voices Storytelling workshop, aimed to help the LGBTQ community explore the realm of storytelling.
Staunton Pride Deputy Director Anhthu Nguyen and ARROW Project Executive Director Sabrina Burress have been working together to create the workshop. It stemmed from Staunton Pride’s “Take Up Space” initiative this year, along with Burress’ passion for storytelling and sharing experiences with the community.
