Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody announced every parent or guardian of a kindergartner in the state will receive a free Child ID kit through a joint safety initiative.
(The Center Square) – Florida has launched a new Child ID program and is distributing Child ID kits to all Florida school districts for parents of kindergarteners, Attorney General Ashley Moody announced.
More than 800,000 children go missing each year in the US – one every 40 seconds. Attorney General Ashley Moody said free Child ID kits will be distributed to parents of every kindergarten student in Florida. The kits make it easier for parents to collect identifying information should they ever need it.
Program will help protect 41,750 kindergarten students in Mississippi this school year.
