As bill said one more year for trading and what a year for wall street with unprecedented gains. Broke through the 18,000 mark and topped 2,000 for the first time ever. Today, stocks ended modestly lower. Lost 55 points below the 18,000 level. Nasdaq to 29 and s p down by 10 points retreating from yesterdays all time closing high. Which sector saw the biggest gains this year . Topping the list utilities. Up 28 , followed by health care which rose 24 and Technology Higher by 21 . And tgs no surprise that the worst performing sector was energy with oil on track for the biggest annual drop since 2008. Telecoms were flat on the year and materials rose by only 6 . Attacking a white student, the school wouldnt have drug their feet on this. Reporter the University Says it did not drag its feet in putting a stop to the attacks. Prosecutors say the suspects locked the victim in a room several times, flew a Confederate Flag in the dorm room suite and in reference to the slavery era, nicknamed him threefifths. The most offensive thing that they did to this young man was they on one occasion locked his head in a ushaped bicycle lock. This is pretty outrageous. Its sad. Its in my words disgusting. Its behavior that is shocking to see that still occurs in 2013. The University Says it does not know how this went on for so long without someone stopping it. Were outraged. Were pissed is a better word. We dont appreciate it. The school has been dragging their feet on this for quite some time and its ridiculous. I think that there has been a lot of momentum coming from asia and weve seen the yen continue to weaken and thats carried momentum all the way into yesterday. I believe unless we have a continued buying spree by the fed, theres more talks of tapering and i think thats really gonna put a top here around that 16 thousand
